Travel is a way to refresh, reconnect, & recharge…
Entry requirements can change quickly, and while we’ll guide you through the process, it’s important that each traveler makes sure passports, visas, and entry forms are up to date and completed on time. While we are busy planning your extraordinary adventure, here’s what we ask of you.
Please take a moment to review these eight key points, then complete and submit the form below to confirm your understanding and agreement to our client terms of service.
1.
Hedy Travel Terms of Service
So that we are on the same page, please read our detailed Terms of Service.
2.
International Travel Documents
Check your passport and visa requirements.
You must have a passport to travel internationally. Passports need to be valid for a minimum of six months from the date of return from your trip, or you could be denied boarding. It is recommended to have at least three blank passport pages in your passport. Keep in mind passport renewals are taking longer to obtain.
Do you need a visa?
If traveling internationally, you may need a VISA (depending on the passport you hold, and / or the destination country's entry requirements). You can find helpful passport information at the US State Department website. Visa information can be found at the US State Department website and CIBTvisas.com.
3.
Know the Health Requirements for Travel
Check vaccination and health guidelines before you go.
Depending on your destination, specific vaccinations or health precautions may be required or recommended for entry. It is the traveler’s responsibility to consult with their medical provider regarding vaccinations and other health considerations. For up-to-date guidance, visit the CDC Traveler’s Health.
4.
Understand the Risks
Hedy Travel and its independent advisors cannot be responsible for issues that are out of our control, such as natural disasters, civil unrest, political upheaval, etc. Just like you, we cannot foresee major world issues that may occur during travel or at global destinations. The US State Department is a great source of updated information regarding international issues or concerns.
5.
Protect Your Investment
We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your travel investment and well-being.
Please keep in mind “CFAR” (cancel for any reason) policies and pre-existing condition waivers are time sensitive and usually need to be purchased within 14 days of your first deposit. If you choose not to purchase travel protection insurance and issues arise that are out of our control, you agree that you will not hold us liable.
6.
Consistency in Travel Documents
Please make sure the names on your documents match your government-issued ID.
Please review your itinerary and other travel documents for accuracy, and inform us promptly of any issues.
7.
Arrive on Time
Minimum check-in for domestic flights is 1 to 1 ½ hours prior to departure and for international flights, 2 to 3 hours before departure.
Due to heightened security measures, it is advised you allow extra time before scheduled departure. Failure to arrive within your airline's specified time could result in denied boarding. All passengers must present officially-accepted photo identification documents, such as passports or other state or government-issued documents. The TSA website has the latest information on required documents.
8.
Consent for Minors
Check entry requirements for children traveling without a parents or legal guardian.
Many countries require a signed and notarized letter from one or both parents or legal guardians if a minor is traveling alone or with another adult. These rules vary by destination, so it is important to review country-specific government entry requirements well in advance of travel.
Thank you for reviewing these important terms.
